Google Sheets
Connect a spreadsheet, map fields to columns, and append a row per approved document.
The Google Sheets destination appends one row per document to a spreadsheet you choose.
Connect
- Open your parser's destination settings and choose Google Sheets.
- Sign in with Google when prompted. Parsedit requests only the
drive.filescope, which means it can access only the specific files you select through the picker. It cannot see, list, or read the rest of your Drive. - Pick the target spreadsheet with the Google Picker.
Map fields to columns
After connecting, map each parser field to a spreadsheet column. You can:
- Use the field name as the column header, or set a custom header per field.
- Reorder columns to match an existing sheet.
Parsedit writes headers and appends rows below them, so an existing sheet keeps its structure.
When rows are written
A row is appended when a document's data is delivered:
- On Approve & Send in manual mode.
- Automatically, if the destination uses auto-send on completion or auto-send on approval. See Automation.
Duplicate uploads never produce duplicate rows: a file already processed by the parser is skipped at intake. See duplicate detection.
Reconnecting
If your Google connection expires or its permissions change, the integration prompts you to reconnect. Reconnecting uses the same drive.file-only scope.
