Refund & Withdrawal Policy

This Refund & Withdrawal Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and the statutory right of withdrawal work for Parsedit subscriptions operated by Cauldrn LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of our commercial terms together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Who this policy applies to

• Consumers in the EU/EEA (and where similar rules apply): You may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts for digital services, as described below.
• Business customers (B2B): Statutory consumer withdrawal rights generally do not apply when you purchase as a trader or for your business. Business subscriptions are billed as agreed at checkout; refunds outside any statutory obligation are at our discretion.

2. How subscriptions work

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. The total price for the selected billing period (including any applicable taxes calculated at checkout) is shown before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current period price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel in the Billing portal in the app, or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise required by law.

3. EU/EEA consumer right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU/EEA and purchase a Parsedit subscription at a distance, you generally have 14 days from the day the contract is concluded to withdraw without giving a reason.

How to withdraw

Send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw (for example by email) to [email protected] within the 14-day period. You may use wording such as:

I hereby withdraw from my Parsedit subscription contract concluded on [date]. Name: [your name]. Email used for the account: [email].

We will confirm receipt and, where a refund is due, refund using the same payment method without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, subject to the digital-service rules below.

Digital services and early performance

Parsedit is a digital service. Performance (access to paid features) typically begins immediately after successful purchase.

Under applicable EU consumer law (including Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m)), the right of withdrawal may be lost for digital services once performance has begun, if you:

1. Gave prior express consent for performance to begin during the withdrawal period; and
2. Acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal once performance began.

At checkout you are asked to accept our Terms (and related policies). Completing payment and using the paid Service constitutes a request that we start providing the digital service immediately. Where the legal conditions are met, the withdrawal right ends when performance begins.

If you withdraw before performance has begun (and within 14 days), you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid for that subscription.

Mandatory rights: Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

4. Other refunds and cancellations

Outside the statutory withdrawal period (or where it does not apply):

• Fees for a billing period that has started are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we agree otherwise.
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the period already paid.
• If we make a material change to pricing or the Service, we will provide notice as described in the Terms of Service.

5. Taxes

Displayed plan prices are typically exclusive of taxes. Applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar may be calculated and collected at checkout (via Stripe Tax) based on your location and tax status. Tax charged is shown before you complete payment.
