Limits
- 50 MB maximum per file.
- 25 files maximum per batch upload.
- Each processed page consumes 1 credit from your monthly quota. See Billing.
Batch uploads
Select or drop up to 25 files at once. Each file becomes its own document and is processed independently, so one failed file never blocks the rest of the batch.
What happens after upload
Each document moves through these states:
- Pending / Queued. The file is received and waiting for processing.
- Processing. Parsedit extracts your parser's fields. OCR runs automatically when the file is a scan or photo, no setting required.
- Completed. Extraction finished. The document is ready for review.
- Draft / Approved / Rejected. Your review decision. See Review and approval.
- Failed. Processing could not finish. Failed documents do not block others, and you can re-upload or retry.
Duplicate uploads
Parsedit fingerprints every file by its content hash. Uploading the same file to the same parser again does not create a new document and does not consume quota. See Automation for details.
Other ways to get documents in
Uploads are one intake channel of several. You can also import from Google Drive, forward documents by email, post files to an inbound webhook, connect Zapier, or use the REST API. See Document intake.
