How Parsedit uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Cauldrn LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use Parsedit (“Service”), available at parsedit.com. For how we use personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember preferences, and maintain secure sessions. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. We use cookies and similar technologies only as described below.
These cookies are required for the Service to function. Without them, core features such as sign-in will not work.
| Purpose | Cookie / technology | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication | Supabase auth cookies | Maintain your signed-in session and manage authentication state. Names and duration are set by our authentication provider (Supabase). |
These remember your preferences to improve your experience. They are not strictly required but enhance usability.
| Purpose | Cookie / technology | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Theme | theme | Your choice of light, dark, or system theme. |
| Language | lang | Your preferred language for the app. |
| Layout | layout-style, sidebar:state | Your preferred layout (e.g. sidebar open/closed) in the dashboard. |
| Cookie consent | cookie_consent_status (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics so we do not ask on every visit. |
You can control functional preferences through the app. Clearing or blocking cookies may reset these preferences.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only if you choose Accept all on the cookie banner (or enable optional analytics in Settings). Until you accept, we do not load the Google Analytics script, do not set analytics cookies, and do not send analytics events to Google.
| Purpose | Cookie / technology | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | _ga, _ga_*, _gid (and related GA cookies) | Measure aggregated site usage (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device/browser type, Core Web Vitals). Used to improve Parsedit. Governed by Google’s privacy policy. |
If you choose Essential only (or turn optional analytics off in Settings), Google Analytics is not loaded. If you previously accepted and then withdraw consent, we update Google Consent Mode to deny analytics storage and clear Google Analytics cookies from this site where possible.
We use Google Consent Mode v2 with a default of denied for analytics and advertising storage. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking. Advertising-related Consent Mode signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) remain denied.
| Purpose | Technology | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Bot protection | Cloudflare Turnstile | CAPTCHA challenge on authentication forms to prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may set cookies or use browser storage to verify that requests come from a human user. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. |
When you interact with payment features (such as Stripe Checkout or the billing portal), our payment provider may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and session management. For example, Stripe may set cookies such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid. Their use is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
You can control cookies through:
For third-party cookies (Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Google Analytics when consented), refer to the provider’s policy and your browser settings.
Our use of cookies is consistent with applicable privacy laws, including:
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
